Communicates Wirelessly via UHF, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPRS for Shipping, Inventory Control, and Asset Management

 

East Coast Diversified Corporation's RFID and GPS division, EarthSearch Communications, (EarthSearch) announced today its newest product offering:  LogiBoxx Certified Handheld RFID Reader ES3001H with integrated GPS technology that is capable of wireless communication via UHF, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPRS.

This device operates on the latest mobile operating system, Windows CE 5.0, and utilizes EarthSearch's proprietary firmware. The handheld reader has many advantages such as low power consumption, a large and clear screen, and an optional camera for recording visual information about assets. LogiBoxx Certified Handheld RFID Reader ES3001H can be connected to a PDA or PC to upgrade software and to customize its built-in features and has an ergonomic design to provide comfort to the user.

Depending on the type of RFID tag, LogiBoxx Certified Handheld RFID Reader ES3001H can identify tagged items up to 15 feet, and is also capable of reading 1D and 2D barcodes. LogiBoxx Certified Handheld RFID Reader ES3001H is typically used in shipping, inventory control, and asset management. In the supply chain industry, businesses may find it useful to track goods in the supply process, using it for mobile inventory taking, price checking, and storage rack adjustments.
