pcCashdrawer proudly reports that in 2010 six new retailers have purchased the new Intel® Atom™family of pcCashdrawer® products. Pilot stores are successfully completed at Old Time Pottery, Blick art material, and Russell Stover. Everything for a Dollar in Canada has purchased 50 pcCashdrawers, and manufacturing is complete for 1330 seasonal POSPortables needed by two specialty retailers for 2010 holiday peak Pop-up stores.
"The new Intel® Atom™ processor embedded in our custom POS computer and cash drawer continues to be the POS selected by savoy retailers", states Ted. "I have now invested in manufacturing a high end Managers Workstation/ POS by using the Intel® Atom™ Dual Core processor and innovative packaging to create a POS computer that is wire free and fits in the palm of your hand."
He also credits the HaaS (Hardware as a Service) business model as being the best choice for retailers with seasonal demand. Three retailers, including Hickory Farms, that add Pop-up stores or mall kiosks for temporary holiday peaks, have chosen Ave Investments to provide over 2000 pcCashdrawer POS systems and off season storage.
On the maintenance side, twenty four retail clients now use Ave Investments, Inc for POS maintenance. Twelve take advantage of the $10/mo/POS onsite and twelve use the overnight replacement policy.
