SAP NEWSBYTE - SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) will showcase “Retail. Right. Now.” at the NRF 103rd Annual Convention & EXPO, being held January 12-15 in New York City. Located in booths 3205 and 3939 at “Retail’s Big Show,” SAP will highlight solutions from the SAP® for Retail portfolio that help transform retail business operations with unified and simplified processes.
In addition to retailer-led customer sessions in the “SAP Retail Theater,” 99 Ranch Market, ULTA Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance, Inc. and other retailers will have designated showcase sections in the SAP booth. The featured retailers will demonstrate how they use SAP solutions to improve business efficiencies, merchandising and marketing, engage with consumers and drive sales.
Attendees will have the opportunity to tour SAP’s “Big Data Express” bus on the show floor. A mobile showcase of Big Data solutions from SAP, the bus is staffed by experts and packed with demos, enabling attendees to see what SAP is doing to help customers bring the innovations of Big Data into their organizations.
Lori Mitchell-Keller, head of Global Retail Business at SAP, will kick-start NRF on Tuesday morning with a keynote panel session. Bert Jacobs, co-founder and chief executive optimist of Life is good, Inc., and BJ Bueno, founder of The Cult Branding Company, will join her to discuss the importance of a passionate and upbeat corporate culture, as well as how retail brands can instill positive energy as part of the brand experience. This optimistic viewpoint can inspire retail associates to live the brand’s core values and drive a retail experience that ensures consumers truly feel a brand’s value and vision. The panel will take place Tuesday, January 14, at 8:30 a.m. EST, in the North Hall at the Javits Convention Center.
SAP will host a number of invite-only events with retailers and SAP executives at NRF, including a global media reception and a customer roundtable luncheon.
