AutoGrid Systems Appoints Software Analytics Business Leader Raj Pai as Global Head of Product Management and Marketing

REDWOOD SHORES, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 4, 2014) - AutoGrid Systems, a leader in Big Data analytics and cloud computing solutions for the energy industry, announced today that Raj Pai has joined the company as Global Head of Product Management and Marketing.

In this role, Raj will be responsible for AutoGrid's corporate and product marketing, product roadmaps and channel strategies. AutoGrid creates Big Data energy applications for critical, real-time tasks such as managing demand response programs, integrating renewables into the grid, controlling peak power loads inside buildings and industrial facilities and pinpointing electricity losses.

Prior to joining AutoGrid Raj co-founded Claritics (acquired by Systems-in-Motion), a cloud-based Big Data analytics provider to retailers, game publishers and social media platforms. Previously, Raj was senior executive in charge of channel sales and product alliances for Big Data analytics market leader Aster Data (acquired by Teradata) and responsible for key vendor partnerships and customer wins including Dell, Teradata, Amazon Web Services, LinkedIn, State Farm, comScore and others. Raj has also held senior software development and marketing positions at Informatica and Tibco.
