NBC Universal used a custom created JAGTAG brandcode at their booth and gave visitors the opportunity to enter a sweepstakes by scanning the 2D brandcode with their phones. The marketing strategy proposes a win-win scenario for both JAGTAG and NBC Universal with both companies able to gain exposure from their roles at CES. The use of brancoding and bar codes continues to grow especially in the areas of mobile marketing due to the instant access to information that it provides.
