Retailers can join the program to have their products or services promoted through mobile coupons. Consumers can opt into the program by signing up in store or sending a text. The coupons will be sent to the consumers with a bar code to be redeemed at the point of sale. Research says that consumer usage of mobile coupons will become a multi-billion dollar retail revenue generator within the next four years.
