For the eighth consecutive year, Inbound Logistics has placed SMC³ on the magazine’s list of Top 100 Logistics IT Providers.

The 2017 list, which was released in the April issue of the magazine marks the 15th overall win for SMC³.

“As shippers, carriers, and 3PLs increase their use of logistics IT, SMC³ continues to be flexible and responsive, anticipating customers’ evolving needs,” stated Felecia Stratton, editor of Inbound Logistics. “SMC³ was selected as a Top IT Provider because its solutions solve specific logistics challenges and improve processes, and create a ripple effect of efficiencies across the entire value chain.”

Inbound Logistics publishes its list of top logistics IT companies annually, recognizing firms that support and enable logistics excellence. The annual compendium of best-in-class IT companies celebrates innovators leading the transportation industry and helping shippers revolutionize their supply chains. For the 2017 iteration, Inbound editors perused nearly 400 applications, winnowing down the entries to the best 100 providers in the nation.

SMC³ has been recognized, in part, because of its holistic, best-of-breed API-fueled platform, which allows users to streamline their businesses and optimize their transportation dollars through the use of Execution, Visibility and Analytical APIs. The company has also been recognized for its 21st century LTL pricing benchmark CzarLite® XL, the rating tool RateWare® XL and the transit-time solution CarrierConnect® XL.

“SMC³’s recognition as one of the Top IT providers in the industry speaks to our reliability, dependability and dedication to providing innovative transit time, rating and costing solutions,” said SMC³ CEO and President Andrew Slusher. “We have accomplished a sustained presence on the Inbound Logistics list due to an underlying principle that we’re here for the long haul, and we will continue to evolve our offerings to fit the shifting needs of shippers, carriers, logistics technology providers and 3PLs.”
