Multiple Apartment Complexes Choose Packcity Intelligent Parcel Lockers

LockersBROOKFIELD, Wis.-- ProShip, Inc., a Neopost company, today announced that multiple apartment complexes have installed Packcity Intelligent Parcel Lockers, a convenient parcel pick-up solution to handle the steady increase in residential parcel deliveries.

Packcity Intelligent Parcel Lockers are an automated electronic locker system that securely stores packages for easy customer retrieval. The entirely customizable, weather-resistant parcel lockers send recipients a one-time PIN code via email or SMS to retrieve their parcel. The parcel lockers accept return shipments as an added convenience for residents. The lockers also have robust reporting capabilities that allow residential managers to view the number of packages delivered, peak pick-up hours and other data.

“Packcity Intelligent Parcel Lockers are a convenient and secure final mile delivery option,” said Gaven Rolfe, Western Regional Territory Manager of Packcity and ProShip. “Instead of spending hours receiving and distributing parcels, residential managers and leasing offices can focus on their day to day responsibilities, while residents have 24/7 access to their packages. Parcel lockers also free-up space previously used for storing packages.”

“As a consultant for various apartment complexes throughout the United States, I found Packcity Intelligent Parcel Lockers to offer the easiest installation, best durability and most robust reporting capabilities in the market,” said Christina Clark Siegfried of Christina Clark Consulting. “The parcel lockers are truly a standalone system that can be placed outdoors to offer unlimited access to residents. The lockers are not affected by the elements, inhibit potential vandalism and save office labor time. Residential managers also like the reporting feature, which gives them the ability to determine the return on investment as well as the need for additional parcel lockers on site.”

“Packcity Intelligent Parcel Lockers are a way to enhance the apartment complex’s brand and offer an additional convenience to residents, while eliminating the responsibility of parcel delivery from the leasing office,” added Christina Clark Siegfried.

Packcity Intelligent Parcel Lockers can be found at various apartment complexes throughout California and Nevada. The complexes are Meridian at Stanford Ranch in Rocklin, California; Montebello at Summit Ridge in Reno, Nevada; Sherwood at Iron Point in Folsom, California; Tanglewood @ Davis in Davis, California; and The Winsted at Sunset West in Rocklin, California.
